Season Summary[]
The second season of Survivor began in Elwood. The eight castaways were divided into two tribes. Bunny, which consisted of Arthur, Brain, Muffy and Sue Ellen. And Rat, which consisted of Binky, Buster, D.W. and Francine.
Early on, Sue Ellen formed separate alliances with everyone on the Bunny tribe. Muffy brought Arthur and Sue Ellen into a trio alliance known as "The Fashion Trio". On the Rat tribe, Buster became ill due to his asthma not responding well with the environment. The other three agreed to vote him out if they lost. When Bunny won the first Immunity, Buster was too ill to strategize. The other three banded together and voted him out first. Rat succeeded in winning the reward, which improved camp life, but they still lost the next Immunity. They agreed to split their votes 1-1-1 and go to rocks. However, Francine flipped in the re-vote and D.W. was voted out.
Although reduced to two members, Rat managed to win the next reward, but lose Immunity. Now down to two, Binky and Francine were forced to do a tiebreaker. In the end, Binky was eliminated and Francine was left on her own. She then moved to the Bunny camp and the two tribes became one.
Entering the merge, Francine and Muffy instantly got into a fight after disagreeing with camping styles. Sue Ellen mentioned to Brain the idea of blindsiding Arthur next, due to him being a threat. Keeping this secret from the others, the votes were tied at the first merged Tribal. Convincing Muffy to switch her vote at Tribal, Sue Ellen's plan succeeded and Arthur was voted out.
Now seeing Muffy as the next biggest threat, Sue Ellen suggested to Brain blindsiding her. Sue Ellen then convinced Muffy to vote Francine and Francine to vote Brain. This lead to a 2-1-1 vote, in which Muffy was voted out. Brain managed to win the final Immunity and voted out Francine due to seeing her as an underdog.
When facing the Jury, Brain received hatred from being seen as a puppet controlled by Sue Ellen, and received one vote out of sympathy. Sue Ellen then won in a 3-1 Jury vote in front of a live audience.
