Player of the Season is an award given to the player that played the most rewarding game of the season. The winner of the prize is decided by three groups: the host of the show, Nathaniel Swede, a mysterious group of people, only collectively known as Nlby001, as well as group consisting of all previous Sole Survivors and Player of the Season winners, excluding any potential of those competing in a returnee season.

- Due to Alternate Lincoln Campbell technically being from another universe, two Player of the Season awards were handed out for Marvel 3.
- Janitor, Byakuya Togami, Gina and Kerry Loudermilk are the only people to win the award twice.
- Janitor and Kerry both did so in back-to-back seasons.
- Nick Fury, Alex Blake, J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter (Winners), Ant-Man, Alternate Lincoln Campbell, Huey Duck, Isabella Maria Lucia Elisabetta and Kerry Loudermilk are the only contestants to win Player of the Season in the same season they became Sole Survivor.
- Catherine Willows, Monica Geller, Kapten Zoom and David Phillips all won Player of the Season in a season other than the one where they became Sole Survivor.
